We just hit a fun little milestone, which prompted me to reflect a bit on how far we’ve come — and how we’ve gotten here.

A few years ago I honestly thought I was getting back into agriculture. But I still had this little spark from my first job out of college at a fund administrator in New Jersey — where I started out doing bank recs, then moved into monthly closes and financial reporting. I still remember the checklists, the spreadsheets, and the software we used (and all the workarounds!). That firsthand experience gave me the ultimate conviction that Entrilia was possible and that we could build something new — something that reflected the realities of the work we had done, not just the conventions of the tools.

But the real flame — the thing that’s sustained and shaped Entrilia — has always been the community around us.

‍

From feature and product ideas to how we structure and commercialize the platform. We’ve been constantly challenged, pushed and inspired by clients, prospects and mentors.

‍

Some of the most important moments have been as simple as hearing feedback like:

“Why don’t you do this?”

“We need that.”

“It would be better for us if you approached it this way…”

‍

Those conversations reminded us — and continue to remind us — that we’re building in an industry with deep roots and decades of institutional knowledge. We’ve had to humble ourselves, listen closely, and recognize that we’re not here to reshape everything — but to listen and contribute where it matters.

That kind of feedback has been foundational — not just helpful.

‍

And alongside that, we’ve had the privilege of building a team of smart, thoughtful people who care deeply about solving real problems and doing it the right way.

‍

That combination — a mission-driven team and a community of experienced voices — is what drives our momentum.

‍

This is a space with incredibly strong players and long-standing platforms. We knew from the beginning that we had to chart our own path.

‍

We’re still very, very early and I certainly don’t want to sound like we’re more than we are – but what we are is appreciative… very appreciative to everyone who’s helped shape this journey — even (and maybe especially) those who’ve challenged us with “no” along the way.
